Chinese Language Support for Non-Chinese Speakers

本校現有十六位非華語學生，為了加強他們學習中文的機會及鞏固中國語文的能力，學校從多方面入手：

Presently our school has 16 Non-Chinese Speakers. To enrich their opportunities in learning and consolidating the Chinese Language, the school is making the following attempts: 

• 安排個別老師入班協助非華語學生上中文課，以加強非華語學生對課堂內容的掌握和理解，提升非華語學生的表達能力。

         Arranging an extra teacher to give individual support to Non-Chinese speaking students during Chinese Language lessons to reinforce their understanding and mastery of the lesson content, and to improve their ability in personal expression.         

• 安排「非華語小組」活動，藉分組及角色扮演活動提升學生的聆聽、理解、表達及認圖能力等。

         Arranging Non-Chinese Speakers group activity to enhance students’ abilities in listening, comprehension, expression and picture recognition. 

• 安排午間中文伴讀計劃，透過圖書、繪本與朋輩互動提升中文能力 

Implement an after-meal Chinese paired reading programme to enhance students' Chinese language proficiency through storybooks, picture books, and peer interaction.  

• 與非華語學生家長保持聯繫。
